WAR IN THE PACIFIC

WAR IN THE PACIFIC

CANCON 2019 NEWS FLASH CHAIN OF COMMAND WILL BE FOUGHT PACIFIC THEATRE

In a break from the European Eastern and Western fronts, Cancon 2019 will see a new T.O. and a new geographic game location. We are off to the Pacific, and will have jungle warfare, beach attacks, and new forces. 

Old Favourites such as the Forces of the Commonwealth will be there, and the U.S. Infantry. Fans of Mother Russia can field very early, or very late war lists. The Japanese will have naval and army lists, and who can forget the U.S. Marines? You may wish to play the Free French, or Chinese Nationals, and if you are keen we can whip up lists for all of these forces.

We will be playing in 28mm, and scenery maestro John Bond will be making at least one table, with Bart Beswick and Steve McG also stepping up make tables.

Scenarios and style have not yet been decided, stay turned here for gradual updates. The next scheduled update will be around August 2018 when the application to run ChoC is put forward to CGS. T.O. applicant for next year will be Steve McG.
